Well 25% is drivers wages, 25% is truck expense, 25 % is rainy day and other expenses and 25% is profit.
that is the way it is supposed to work when the truck is paid off
How much should an O/O make?

No. I don’t operate under my own authority. I own the truck and I drive the truck. I am a 1truck company leased to a carrier operating under their authority.
-
That won't work fore I only get 65% of the gross to begin with.
-
-
Do you consider yourself an O/O?
-
your 65% is your 100% base earnings.
if you are pulling in 65% they are probably deducting a truck payment, and other goodies plus base plates. -
good point actually what would be considered enough for one person may be inadequate for another, based on daily, weekly , monthly expenses i personally could live off $500 a week however i have no expensive overheads like a mortgage, rent, car payments, jet ski payments etc etc someone that has a high debt owing is going to want alot more to keep things in prospective.
