I found a ton of jobs paying 50-55 a year. I’m looking for more in the 65-70 a year range.

 

For sure lol!! Freind and I rolled up I-64 east years ago in a 74 Cutlass, got off exit 15 ( curve to the right then left ) car started laying down and making a funny noise. Looked in the passenger mirror and that big 60 was out passed the 1/4 fender . Had to get the car a ride home then.

Did you use a income comparison calculator to see the difference? Some places you don't need to make near as much to have the same quality of life in terms of what your money can buy. Just a thought.

50-55 is decent in many rural areas of the Midwest, in my area you can buy a pretty nice place for $150,000. My advice is get moved and get going in a rental then wait until the market eases then you can get a good deal on a house plus get familiar with your new area and you can find that $65,000 job.

 

You and I have compared notes before and know this is a fact.
