seems it took a while, but TomTom has there new truck/ large vehicle GPS unit out.

Have not had an opportunity to spend any time with it, but looks like it has some nice features.
    Any one have one?

No, but it looks interesting. Not sure how TomTom traffic works or who their provider is but if it requires a wifi connection for traffic I might have a problem with that. But certainly a "stopped traffic alert" can be handy if/when it works.

It has a good mount system. Traffic needs external input, as nearly as I can tell.

The TomTom Truck GPS has absolutely horrible reviews.

So what's so horrible about it? I know they're usually not on the same level as like Garmin, but how bad can it be? Lol.

Not sure when it was released, I know of one guy who bought it and returned it. He broke his Cobra whatever it was, and after trying(not really) a Tom Tom, now has a 5 inch Garmin. Another friend is using a Garmin and it screws up his Bluetooth sometimes, I think he got it figured out this time, but that can crop up.

It does what I need, which isn't that much, admittedly.

If you need the bells and whistles, you probably won't be happy with it, but at least it stays put and doesn't annoy me with things I don't want (like another eld).

I have to use the one my company bought anyway, and more information in that regard would only make it worse for me.
