See that wee wire spring clip, holding the hose to the hose barb? I guess at -5 degrees 80W90 is pretty thick, lying under the truck pumping away all of a sudden pumping got easier. Blew two pumps worth onto a spring hanger, when the hose blew off. Then the wind started gusting blowing the gear oil all over the place and towards me. Trying to pump with one arm using the other to hold the hose in place isn't as much fun as it sounds. Fix that little red wagon today with a hose clamp. It's always something

Cost of living sounds a lot more attractive out there in the middle; if I could make the comparable same income I'd be too busy loading my #### up in a wagon to type this.
Once I get some stacked up, I'll be good to move somewhere n call it good. From today's estimate; 3 kids to put thru college in the next 10 years...... sounds like about a week after I die I'll be in a good spot to make that move.

I know you're just joking, but I'm going to comment for the lurkers out there.

50%of the time, you're going to be stacked up, deadhead. When the trailer is loaded, the majority of the time, you're going to drop the trailer to fuel and do whatever. Lots of bobtailing.
If you roll into a place and load, to unstack and load up and get everything button up ready to rock, you're looking at a day.

    13 axles...

How would you do your maintenance stuff like greasing the fittings and airing the tires? It's a thinking man 's job and we are trying to work smarter, not harder.

Well got out of my Pa load, my young son left with it this morning. I am gonna ease over in the Nations and get some calves for Nogales. Then back over to Tonopah to reload. Spent most of the day looking Unc's ride over, nothing to report besides an oil change, as usual more grease on me than the truck. Im gonna do my best to get the black truck home this week. Spent 28k in one drop, and they wouldn't meet me Saturday afternoon to let me have it. No stacks and a few other neccesities so its a haul it home deal. Had EZ not thought enough of me to give me his ride I be porked bout now. 2nd time that 359 has come through for me. I have never felt good about using it, Unc was always fussy about it just makes me nervous crazy as that is. I get a little smoother with it all the time. Better at finding that right gear after a slow down or turn. Finding one it will step off in aint a problem, but it pissed him off to lug it a little till it caught up. I'm gonna say he will be lucky if I put er back in the barn this time. I'm liking the current situation
