Nothing is forever. But yeah there are no planned increment raises.

At the rate we are going I expect a shift in start pay.40 dcs last I looked.

 

After that last audio message from upper management on our OBCs, I expect an announcement sooner rather than later that they are getting rid of the private fleet.

Yes a large city location will limit your miles and the pay is Frozen. When we went to the new pay system about 10 years ago (I think) the first thing we figured out was that it did not pay as well for multi drops. Well...now everything is NM's, groceries, pot soil, etc...so pay will be down and it is getting harder to get 100,000 miles with this new optimizer system...lot of put down early scenarios...sounds better than it is really. By first of the year, they will roll a new pay system out for everyone.

 

Yeah that one sent me off the deep end as well. Blaming us for their lack of hiring.

I get there are folks just bad mouthing what is still a good job, but they created the optics of PF standings, they cut starting pay, they have threatened the very existence of PF. And your going to blame the drivers for lack of applicants


We did have 7 new guys start this week though. Guess we will see how they do here.

 

The two I talked to were happy to be there. One from Schneider, and the other from KAG. Both expected to make more here than previous. No idea on the other 5.

I suppose they all knew coming in because our HR says they are telling them up front.
