Fuel treatment ?

No big deal. Everybody starts somewhere. Just remember to respect the equipment, which from your background I'm sure you will. To many guys just don't understand that anymore.

 

start truck run until check engine light comes on with key on turn cruise to off. hold resume down. watch ck eng lt on detroit it starts with 2 flashes, pause, and 5 flashes. 25 after that it will give stored codes starting with last first. call any dealer they can tell you what the code are. they will be 2 digits like 44 or 27. when it gives 25 second time it is done. on cats it starts with code, no 25, and on mine if you turn the key off and back on you lose it. you will only get 55 which is no stored codes. hope this works for you, it always has for me

 

Used lucas couple times till my uncle told me can affect the engine.I start to investigate and now I'm using kleen injector cleaner approved by Cummings on my detroit series 60
