Yep I loaded in New York and am headed to Bradenton Florida with a ASAP load. Just got shut down for the night. Been running pretty hard. Only stopped twice in 608 miles so I haven’t checked the thread all day. This load is a need it there yesterday type deal.
Glad you jumped in on the thread Hellcat. Glad to see another IRT on here. I have a 22 inch Skyworth in my truck on the factory mount. I have the biggest iPad they make that I use mostly but I have a lightning adapter and HDMI cord where I can mirror my I devices onto my tv screen. Works great for Netflix and YouTube.

That’s why I like it down there. Plenty to do and a for sure place to drop the tank in order to bobtail. I usually bobtail to Chili’s across the interstate and eat a steak every time I’m there. Glad to see you’re getting good miles. Mine usually averages 3,000 a week pretty consistently. On the weeks where I only turn in 1,500 or something like that it’s because I either went home for 3-4 days or it’s because I did a long haul that didn’t deliver until the morning or afternoon after the pay period cutoff, which usually puts the next weeks miles at 4,500, etc.. A 7 day pay period is too hard to squeeze sometimes when a guy is hauling loads that sometimes have 1,500-2,000 miles between shipper and receiver. That’s why I ignore things on a weekly basis a lot. Instead, I just go back every month and tally up everything for the previous 4 weeks then divide by 4 and it usually comes out around 3K.

I’ve delivered in both the Carolinas, so I know we have some stuff in that region. I was actually planned on a Rose Hill, NC load this morning until it was changed to Florida. Recruiting could tell you more though.MagnumaMoose Thanks this.

I’d bet money if you would have taken the AZ load you would have received a preplan to dead head back to Mission when empty before you ever made it to El Paso. That’s usually what they do. Mission to Tempe, then straight back to Mission.

Glad to be here! Thanks for all of the info you have given on this thread, you have answered questions that I didn’t even know I had!Tanker_82 Thanks this.

I’m in the middle of a Delano, CA to Napoleon, OH run. I was running on recap hours doing a couple of the Tropicana loads and asked dispatch for something going east. They set me up on this run and it had enough extra time in it for me to make it halfway and get a restart in! I’m hoping once I deliver I can roll with something else that delivers before Monday night cutoff.

I picked up a tank of OJ and taking it to Lake Wales, FL. Heading home...

Hopefully this load is a drop or they’re a quick unload. It’s right down from the terminal and has a 8am appointment for Friday.

I can’t say for sure, but I think I jockeyed a tank out there a long time ago when I was laid over in Winter Haven. If it’s the place I’m thinking of I checked in across the street then had to wait for them to give me the go ahead to take the empty tank over and drop it for it to be loaded. I bobtailed back and went on to other things after that. If it’s the same place I would guess the unloading works the same. Crossett Driver may know.
I unloaded in Bradenton this morning. Mine was time sensitive and I was behind the 8 ball when I loaded it. Had a 10am app. I made it there at 10:20. Ran my tail off last few days without stopping much I’m wore out. Lolbigcat1124 Thanks this. -
I’m dead heading to Mission.
bigcat1124 Thanks this.
