I can't wait until I can do this more often.
Hopefully yours will go faster than mine did. I guess at the end of the day, We bought a house, took the inside apart and put it back together. If I had it to do again, I would have shut down the shop for 3-4 months and just worked on the house. Hindsight is always 20/20.
I've been roll texturing the ceiling in the last bedroom this morning. There is a bit of a learning curve, and now that I look like I stood under a flock of seagulls, I think I have made it through the curve.

She has been on me for a couple of year's to change some floors, do some painting. Take one of the kids room and make me an office. I keep putting it off, to be honest Im just not ready to paint over the crayon scribbles on the wall, or clean out a closet full of things they left behind. I know I got to move on, just don't see why it has to be today

I understand that completely. Not sure if this house is going to be short a door or not when we move.

Yes I did. They are ok but wouldn't recommend them. They are comfortable. I had to make a plate to bolt to floor to set the seat back farther for my big butt to fit behind wheel.

Man, I just cant catch a break with idiots and liars lately.it seems.

New guy had me pick up a Cascadia Monday. Got home real late, of course wife was up with the new baby so I didnt get much sleep. Next morning he tells me to go ahead and take that truck through the wash, apparently Tues early afternoon is the time everyone gets their truck washed. I had 11 trucks in front of me. So I get it done and head to the yard to get the next truck/flatbed to take to the wash. 5min from the yard boss calls and says we dont need to wash his other Cascadia because he just traded it off on a '14 in Dallas and the dealership already had it picked up. That made zero sense to me as the truck was beyond filthy, the front bumper was partially busted and the tires were shot. No one just up and trades off a truck in that shape and that fast.

I get to the yard and sure enough its gone. The W900 is sitting there so I tell the guy "Im gonna take the KW home, degrease it, use my big pressure washer, then in the morning run it through the wash so its really clean". He shoots the idea down because all of a sudden that truck doesn't have any insurance on it. What? Why not? An hour ago I was gonna be taking it into SA to the truck wash, and now I cant drive it at all? I realized I left my keys in it a few weeks ago so I jump in and find them, and decide to flip the key. Truck is completely dead. Wtf? That truck has never done that.

So here I am at the yard 65mi away from home, its 3:30 and this guy says "can you call your wife to come get you? I do t have time to drive you home". What the F?! Since I dont really have a choice, I call her and explain, she's pissed and rightly so. I tell the guy "alright well can you atleast run me down in SA so she doesn't have to drive all the way out here. He's kind of pissy about it, but agrees. Takes me 10mi and is #####ing about traffic and how long it's gonna take him to get home. So I say "yea me too and Ive got a pissed off wife and a month old baby". He shuts up. At this point I just wanted out of the truck so I have him drop me at a big grocery store that has a little restaurant/bar. He cant even drop me off up front, drops me off in the gas station parking lot next door. F'er.

So after getting home, it pops in my head, this guy didnt trade off his truck, it got repo'd. Some things he'd said to me earlier didnt make sense and it getting repo'd does.

I gotta find a good company that isnt owned by some bs artist.

    Different day. More ########.

Apparently I’m less important than the ####s out of orientation who are automatic restricted... unreal.

Sooooo, taking a smokers lounge of a 660 up to Tulsa. Who knows what I’ll get. Blessing in disguise, maybe... to say I’m a bit pissed would be an understatement.
