Got a buddy that ripped a tendon near his knee apart yesterday at Alcoa... so much for all that safety crap they press on us...
He’s going into surgery Monday...told him not to get excited around all those college nurses they might operate on the wrong leg.
Where is everyone #5

It's a bad pic, but if you look closely, you will see his right foot is missing. He's not trying to hide. He crawled all the way THROUGH the truckstop!

Dadgum, I wonder if he lost his cane or crutches? That’s impressive, I almost fall over sometimes when I am doing standing quad stretches. I can’t imagine how tough it would be to have that permanent.cke, 1951 ford, Shock Therapy and 8 others Thank this.

One bead is a welder fitter with an arc welder. The other is a farmer with a MIG welder. First class service from Grays Welding today. Did a fantastic job and the bill was reasonable.
@1951 ford
Why would a welder ask me to disconnect the truck batteries? I'm guessing there's a chance of something shorting out, I should've asked earlier. -
They always recommend unhooking the batteries before you weld.

Looks like a few rides left in some of that stuff. My wife is friends with an interior decorator outta memphis. This girl shows up at the house one day can't get my wife at the door so wanders out in the barn hunting her. I see her from the shop and offer to let her in. Thats when she dropped the bomb on me. Seen a pile of stuff real similar to that with a couple ol saddles in the mix. Just outta no where offers me 2 grand for the lot if I load it in her tahoe. I ain't one to take advantage of dumb people but since she was gonna I bout broke my neck getting that stuff loaded up. Ordered my straights for the black truck with itpeterbilt_2005, 7-UP, cke and 14 others Thank this.

When your fighting grass fires like that and are in the smoke for so long doesn't it make you sick?
The wind is switching to the NW tonight 25-50 so it'll be blowing all that this way and we'll be smelling all night. After a while it makes me sick and I have to get out of it. I don't know if it's because I smoked for so long and have been quit for 10 yrs or what but it sure does bother me anymore.cke, ShooterK2, 4mer trucker and 6 others Thank this. -
@SAR , are you getting any of that blizzard?
cke, 4mer trucker, SAR and 3 others Thank this. -
It's all pretty dry. I picked it up from somebody that wanted to get rid of it 20 or more years ago thinking it would be a shame to see it go to the trash. I used to feed with teams of horses and I guess I had a soft spot for days gone by and thought I needed them. Somebody cut some of the hames out, probably to use for decoration. Anyway, I have an acquaintance that uses teams still, so I gathered them up and gave them to him in case he can make use of any of it.
