I guess you need a new CAC.

What's the numbers off the pvc pipe and the brass cap and where did you get them? I'm assuming its a 4 inch pvc? I've been wanting to build something like this to test CAC's. Thanks for the videos as always!Ezrider_48501 Thanks this.

mine is actually 3 inch yours being a cat is probably 4 inch. i just got the stuff from the plumbing department at menards, made sure that i had a boot that would fit the inlet side of the turbo then i carried the boot into the plumbing department and milled around till i found a combination of stuff i thought i could make work. my original plan was to get a piece of metal pipe weld a piece of flat steel on as a cap to drill and tap. but i could only find drain pipe big enough in pvc so finding the brass clean out caps was kinda the ticket for me.
i did notice they had the brass clean out caps in both 3 and 4 inch.SAR Thanks this. -
yeah i guess so. i was actually trying to diagnose a chirping sound that i could only hear under high boost when i did that test, turned out to be a bad exhaust manifold gasket. still have that cac in the truck. it bubbles a lot but it still took a min or two to leak down when you shut the air supply off. considering the amount of cfm your flowing at full boost and max rpm the cfm/leak ratio on that is pretty small. but yeah ill need to be planning to replace the cac in the near future.
