Smurf you are dead on. I just terminated my lease with them. My truck was a lemon and the miles sucked when I WAS running. No I didn't turn down loads and I always tried to pick up and deliver early when I could. Not to mention the total disregard for their drivers.

When Bill was at orientation, they pitched the lease at LEAST 5 different times. Then the day he was supposed to get his truck, they took em all in a room and pitched it AGAIN. Bill finally spoke up and said, "Do you mind if I at least get a paycheck first before I sign a contract?" They left him alone after that, and within 3 months he was in an 08 KW T660 cuz someone bailed on their wonderful lease and the truck had to be moving to make money so Bill got it. Gorgeous truck. I felt like we were in an RV after riding in the Freightliner that was so beat up. We kept waiting for the phone call though asking if he wanted to lease that beautiful truck they were so nice to let him drive. Never happened cuz he quit before they could get to him. :biggrin_25511: I give credit to those that can make the lease work for them, I am sincerely happy. We couldn't make it work there as a company driver so it must be that much more challenging with a lease payment every week.

Glad i'm not an L/O with them. Heck, i'm going broke just being a company driver. Yes they do push leases hard and do it in sneaky ways like making You wait for 6 days to get a truck after orientation and then if You are unlucky enough to have been in an 04 Freightliner, leases running out, truck has to be in the yard and of course a truck WILL NOT be waiting. Came in on Dec. 23rdand still don't have a truck. Now to be fair, may have one waiting when I get back. They asked me to do a recovery so am heading back now.
Recovery!!!! OMG what a nightmare this has been. 3 large bags of trash to clean out. Leased by a smoker (yuck) and permit book could not be found and they still wanted me to pick up a load. Refused to do it and got a call from management about it. She seemed cool and thought I was refusing to drive because this truck is a toxic dump. Told her nope, no permits. Finally- -after waiting for 5 hrs, some permist are faxed to me.
Know anyone who will hire a felon? Pretty fed up here

Seems like its feast or famine with these guys. Just had a 2700+ mile week as a company driver and that was even with the last 2 loads being like 24 hrs to do 4oo miles or so. Then I got this load. Oh my were they sneaky about it. 48 hrs to do 580 miles. Knew something smelled but not what. Mind thinking, well ok, maybe they'll let me deliever early. Wrong. Closed on Sat. so here I sit, in a muddy parking lot behind a resturant waiting. Should at least get a reset after this but would much rahter be running.
