And such should be industry wide.
Don't worry about me, there is nothing recoverable in my history which potentially would be several hundred thousand or more. But pray tell where do you sue and get this from whom is no longer existing as a valid business? In the words of a popular Finance Poster "annnd it's gone."
Congratulations on your award. Be careful with that money. Christmases do not come twice in a year with the exception of this award. Enjoy it. But be careful to save against a rainy day which are most certainly coming.
I myself have been a recipient of several awards against certain abusive businesses in which pay is shorted and prosecuted by the state. But because the defendant who had judgement entered against him claimed immediate bankrupcy for which he will discharge and emerge from scot free in about 7 to 10 years after (It's been more than 30 in this case...) there is no pay out. Theoratically I can still try and find this one and others and seek a judgement myself. But it will cost more to pursue them than it is to recover the actual wages.
Such is Law. Again, Congrats on your award and enjoy it carefully. Have fun.
Knight class action payout, the wait is over.

We settled after 5 years of litigation for 3.5 million. I used to be a Teamster Businesses Agent. I only worked there 5 days and quit because of the problems I saw there. Glad they're still getting sued. -

The poor dirtbag drivers that are the victims in this case get a mere pittance.
I guess a 'career choice' is proportionate to the actual value of a human being. -
Worked for them over 15 years. They charged O/O for workers comp knowing it was illegal. I told Dave Jackson about this when he took over the O/Oz division many years ago and he said he knew it but they made millions on it and to forget about it.

You must have gotten shorted, I worked there just over two years out of the Fairview, OR terminal and got almost that.
