Got in early this morning. This is probably the one time you'll hear me ##### and moan about elogs. I did 627 miles from Wawa in 12.5 hours. I was 56 miles out from the yard and needed 25-30 more minutes of driving to get back last night instead.

But I'm getting this feeling the MOT is going to be starting elog audits within the next year, and I'm not going to be caught logbook speeding, nor am I going to be a victim of the OPP's taxation scam (they were out in full force on the 17 both Friday and Saturday). So I did a quick 8 hour turn around and my wife met me in the yard as soon as I got there.

2880 miles for the week, 2 drops, 2 extra drops, 2 picks, and an extra pick with a tarp on top of 1 cent premium for 1400 miles (plus whatever this week puts me over 5000 getting 10 cents premium) = $$$$$

 

Got in trouble around here without a hood lol. Only part of the drivetrain original to the car was the differential. 1967 Small journal 327 with the factory double humps fed by a 75 Buick 455 carburetor for the extra cfm's. Backed by a Saginaw 4 speed. In the early 80's the big 5.0 mustang craze was on, I busted their ### every weekend on 5th ave in Huntington, right in front of the courthouse. Lot calmer now than I was at one time . Had a lot of fun that's for sure, and we look back and wonder how in the hell did we make it?!! .

 

Yea, back then I think I ran low 18s in the quarter at like 85 mph. Lol

A really fast built ( not a kids car ) street car was in the high12s and a 10 sec street car was in no way Streetable.

The bad boy Vette of the day was 225 hp and that sweet 5.0 gt was 215 hp.

The speed limit was 55mph. In my Camaro I thought I was really moving at 65 or 70 mph. You know because of all the noise. Lol

 

I just am realizing those pics posted in this thread not the kenworth pics thread. One day I'll learn these computers :/

Crazy. Now a days 12s and 500hp are just average and you can easily street 800+ and sub 10s
