Could anyone provide info or a schematic of the wiring for my 2013 389 back up lights. I've checked all the way back to the back up switch on top of the transmission. It all was good. I just don't know where to go from there. last 6 of the vin are162960.
Thanks

Back up alarm and Back up lights are 2 separate circuits. The lights are powered by a 20amp fuse labeled accessory in position E2 in the cab. The power comes out the bottom rectangle plug on the firewall and is the same power that goes to the air drier as well. It then goes to the switch on top of the trans then back to the backup lights. The backup lights use a common ground at the taillight harness.
Backup alarm is powered by fuse G8 on the firewall and is chassis node controlled with the signal coming from the reverse light switch.
As always, check ALL fuses with a test light, they label fuses vague things and quite often fuses control more then is said on the label.
Do you have power at the plug on top of the trans?Attached Files:

I have that to take care of and a wire issue with the nox sensor, but at least this will help with the lights. All I could find was schematics for the 379. -
Hello ,
was the problem solved ?
i have a 2014 pete 388 car carrier , i recently had my tranny , clutch replaced and had new sensor on top of the tranny for reverse light.
and i've been having issue with the left signal , its working from the front but not from the side or the back( works sometimes) , and the backup light keeps flashing anytime the ignition is on even though the truck is not running ( and also keeps on beeping ).
please any help will be appreciated it.
thank you -
