Im sure Im not the only person who drives truck thats fed up with these crappy companies stealing my hard earned money and then listening to them weaving a tale of more crap to justify thier theft frm me! It gets worse and worse, he more they get by with the more they do it, its out of control! Wake up guys, 10 to 5 % of your miles lost each week because they pay you zip code to zip code, they sit you around using 24 o 48 hours of your life for 25 to 50 bucks if you ven get that! Detainment delivering and picking up loads, spending half a day to get 10-15 bucks if that, why because we let them get by with it so they think nothing of it! Besides if you ##### they'll screw you twice as bad the next load! Wake up guys get some balls and put an end to this crap, thesecompanies steel us blind because we have let them get by with this here, that there, now they have us all deamed ignorant stupid drivers and screw us over on one hing or another every single load! And to top it off they sell you health care at 100 or more dollars a week for a family thats worthless! Its theft! Its got to stop! We have to stop it, by fighting for what we and our families deserve for the long hours and time away from home we as drivers give up when we dedicate our lives to trucking, we deserve every penny for us and our familes, we do the work, we put in the hours, we make the sacrifices, not the office jerk in the shirt and tie working 8 to 5 monday threw friday! They have us all classified as igorant dumb truck drivers and rightly so because we sit back and let them order us to sit, drive, eat, and barely sleep on comand like a dog! We are the DRIVER'S we are the force that makes everything happen in the trucking industry, not the office guy who scews you over with your pay to make a bigger check for himself for his 8 hour day ! Wake up guys!
Ask questions, demand answeres, dont let these companies feed you B.S,they have new cars, houses, vacations, and work a few hours a day while you foot the bills, I dont know about all you but I got a family o sopport, I take care of mine, they want the money but dont want to work for it, why should they as long as some dummy lets him take his money he worked for every week and never says a word! WAKE UP GUYS!
I have been trucking almost 16 years now, Ive seen the pay checks get smaller and smaller as the weeks and days grew longer, it's wrong! We have to work together and change this industry, we work hard and deserve paid for every mile we drive, and every minute we spend performing any task we do for these outfits, they get paid dont let them fool you! Dont let these lowlife parasite companies take advantage of you or another talk to each other, use this sight to report parasite crappy companies, and push these outfits to pay p or close up, they cant pay bills if they dont have us!
Tiered of being robbed blind?

I tell you what to do the next time they want to pay you from zip to zip as soon as you reach that zip stop and call them tell them you delivered it as far as the pay would allow!!!! Tell your boss to work 10 hours a day and only get paid for 3 see how they like that. I personaly would not ever drive for someone who does't pay hub miles and anyone that does i guess deserves not to get paid the miles!!!

I hear drivers all the time crying about these companies that dont pay like they should,But if you ask some of them to go with you to the yard and say something 9 out of 10 wont go, I was in new york city back in the 80's and one day there was 25 drivers from the company i work for and they all where standing around crying about the trash we had to haul to OH,IN,IL, i said lets all go to PA, to a place we always went before we got that trash run, and call them and tell them we dont won't trash no more, I had 3 drivers follow me out of 25,no one wont's to stand together , they are afraid of losing there job well what job is worth working if you are not getting payed for what you do...
1pissedoffdriver and davan2004 Thank this. -
I guess i am the exception.. i dont have major complaints about who i work for. i do my hard trip out for a hard pay. some are fair and some screw you up on pay to see what they can get away with. once you show them you wont put up with it, they ( most ) will stop.

I did this once with a detour. Stopped at the bridge that was out, sent message asking if I would be paid extra miles for detour, or should I attempt to jump the river? I got a few extra miles on that trip, but I have not been able to change the zip code thing. I tried once while having two stops in same zip. I moved from one dock to another at the first stop and told them this must be it as it says it is 0 miles from here. I got no extra miles here and had to move on to next stop or be fired.
The problem as I see it is that in a large company they always have somebody to take your place and you can never get anybody to stand up together. Too many people afraid of losing their job or they just really do not care as much as some other people do. For the same reasons unions would not work in large companies either.
Maybe if people would document cases of not being paid while being forced to be away from home, the miles they drive vs the miles they are paid, and any other pay issues. Take all this information and put it together neatly and send it to their Congressman. Maybe if enough Congressmen were bombarded with enough information ( not just complaints ) they would someday look into it. -
Walk out. It's what I do.
I put up with as much as I want or can stand. Then I leave.
Pay generally isn't one of my concerns though. As .29 a mile is still acceptable pay for straight out and in drivers for my neck of the woods. -
.29pm is reason enough to walk out.
1pissedoffdriver Thanks this. -
As an OTR driver or regional. I would agree.
But if you're home 3-4 days a week. No. -
seriously .29 cents is robbery....thats no money
