IF the company reports it to DAC, I will guarantee it will be on your record. DAC reports EVERYTHING that is reported by their subscribers, because they don't give a crap about drivers, they are ONLY in the Information Business.

Not my fight here but roadkill just state entire work history about driving, of course they only have you history from the employers that report to DAC mainly start date end date. That is work history. it's not a history of every task that was done for every employer just who you worked for and where that employer is located.:biggrin_25525:

I did not read as much into it as you. But I know Roadkill will be able to skillfully support his response to you.:biggrin_25526:

No one was whining as you say about not responding we were just simply pointing out that you hit the board with your complaint then disapeared from the site.

The mods do not like seeing people that start a post to complain then never post again.

Things that go on your DAC. this seems to be a topic that always gets drivers wond up for some reason. I know DAC was purchased I do belive last yr by a company owned that the owner is a former truck driver. You can now fight what is on your DAC and companies now have to show proof with in 30 days of you contesting it, otherwise it gets removed. your credit does not go on dac, a company may ask you to sign a release fourm to look at your credit, but they can not put it on dac. DAC contains start, end dates, any accidents you had with them, preventable or not, if you took a drug test for them, pass or failed, and rehire status with them and if its a no, then why. I know this due to my wife was a recrutier for a major trucking company and if I was going to leave where I was, she would pull my dac to make sure firstI had nothing bad on there. The one thing you do want for re hire status, is the following, review before rehire. for what ever reason in this industry, thats thier way of saying yes. Companies are very cuatious now about what they are putting on DAC as they are NOW liable for what they put and they pay a few to use it and get charged I think my wife said by the word. You as a driver can also buy a membership which allows you to look at your dac, and create a profile with your dac so when a company looks at it, they can read like a personalized bio of you. you can even put on your dac a explanation to somthing may have happened and the company put it on your dac. so if you guys are going to get into it about dac, just do it smartly, there are more issues that we should be wasting our brath on instead of DAC. thanks, just my .02

One of the trucking companies I called pulled up the report and read it to me. It said on the report 1 year experience (only had 11 mos) and terminated for violating company policy on logs.

most would normally look at that as fresh as you are as oversight. I would tell any new prospect, hey im will to even sit and go thru a logs class with you guys before i roll in one of your trucks, it says something about your character then, and will incress your odds better. with all the changes that come out and the new HOS, alot of trainers dont even know whats right and whats wrong, and some are so old school, that they are totally confused. it happens. dont give up. I even had one company, a big dog, tell me i am to log a post trip, not a pre trip, that that is a log book violation and dot will ticket me for it, so even some of the companies dont have it right.
