You have the only trailer in the whole world then that the pins never stick.
And because you can't do it, or never learned, means it can't be done then right?

well, define stick. stuck as in beat them back with a hammer? no mine don't do that. stuck in postion when i pull the button due to being sandwiched in the holes? sure. but the instant the brakes apply and the tandems move they suck in.

I just spray mine down with WD40. Not only does it fix the problem,it helps prevent the problem and it helps the next driver that gets the trailer.

Well, I still want to see the video of someone disengaging those locking pins without dumping the air supply to the trailer.
Cause as soon as you supply it the safety valve closes, and they re-engage.

So I guess you kill the supply, get out, pull actuator to disengage pins, get back in truck and ..............do what now?

How do you move that truck without using the clutch?

As soon as you push that red nob in, those pins are locking.

So I just really need to see how this is done using the trailer brake.

You do realize not every slider had an air activated pin system right? Most are spring set ups with a lever or rod you pull/lift by hand and require no air.

You do realize if you read this thread so you know what you're getting into, he said he has air release pins.
Either way, how is he, or anyone moving the lever from the cab? Cause he doesn't use his clutch remember.

where did i say i didn't use the clutch to get the truck rolling?

correct on the valve,i jam a screw driver in it.

is what your little freak out is about? you can't understand what i said i do? lol. kinda...catty aint you.

real quick and simple......pop the valve....put a screwdriver thru there to hold it open...get rolling in L or R with clutch all the way out..pull johnny bar to slide.....

no yanking with the truck and the clutch partially engaged against the trailer brakes.

heres a little tip to with an air slider....if the tandems are back, and you are gonna slide them up...get the truck rolling, like when you are leaving the dock, and apply the johhny bar to stop, which pulls the tandems to the rear against the pins. when you go the move them up the pins instantly releaseas soon as you apply the johhny bar agaain to slide. or vice versa.
