Never said that nor would I........we are in business to make a profit.......just like truckers.....if WE don't make a profit it impacts our shareholders......and they EXPECT us to make a underwriting profit. Last I checked profit isn't a bad word.........but for some reasons people tend to think that insurance companies shouldn't make a profit, and should operate at a loss so the insurance industry can subsidize bad actions on the drivers part.......so blame us if you will, but as you all so eloquently put it the steering wheel holders who cause the losses, and the ambulance chasers who run up medical bills so it "improves" their case, and juries of your peers who make ridiculous awards for minor soft tissue injuries are what set your insurance rates. You want lower insurance rates don't hit so many of your own.....average truck stop parking lot "backing" incident costs $ 15,000 - 25,000, and those seem pretty preventable
