Well... after reading your posts, your issues almost seem unrelated... and that they’re just praying on your ignorance...
What is the issue? You had an oil leak, now you need a fuel pump? After they conveniently pressure washed your motor? ... seems like you need to cut your loses and get on out of those places and try to learn yourself more about your truck.
Because if there’s no major issue then your chasing yourself into circles. Run that truck and track down that oil leak if that’s your concern.

One box is part of the bull crap dpf system...that's what i had changed....dont think that had anything to do with differential or trans. Part of emission system. Thinking of getting mine deleted somehow.
-
I have a feeling the other shop may have got some new parts from your truck and replaced with old ones..
-
Differentials don’t cost 11k. You can get a reman for 3k range. Why u think you need a diff. If it’s not making a noise. It’s good. Learn to do small stuff yourself. Don’t take engine work to a freightliner. Take it to Detroit shop or whatever engine you have. Most engines mechanics in the freightliner have only a basic knowledge of all engines

Take it to an engine shop for whatever engine you have for engine problems. Engine mechanics at dealers only have a basic knowledge of all engines. A diff or pumpkin doesn’t cost 11k. Remans are about 3k a piece. The power divider axle will always have some medal on the drain plug. If it’s not make a noise your good .

The Detroit Diesel 1 Box s part of the emission system. It houses the DPF and SCR in the component. Hence called one box. Usually Detroit recommends changing your DPF at 300 to 400k. You can get reman filters and do not have to buy the whole system. Detroit also washes their DPFs instead of baking them. There are two filters per system. If your filters are cracked or damaged you will need them to be replaced too.
Obviously, you mentioned #6 injector problem. That can cause issues with your DPF since you might be building up more soot or get unburned fuel into DPF.
Your air pressure going up to 160 psi can be caused by a faulty governor. The governor controls the compressor to kick in and out and your max air pressure.
Pressure washing should not hurt anything on the engine. The stuff is designed for it, but Detroit does have wiring issues at times. Those can show up when engine is pressure washed. Also the MCM is on same side than dipstick on most models. Again water intrusion in MCM (Motor Conrol Module) can cause all kinds of issues.
I just had to replace my MCM and injector harnesses on my DD16 since they wicked oil from under valve cover all the way down into MCM. Truck had about 320,000mls on it.
You need to start learning about your equipment so you can ask educated questions at dealers. Detroit has tons of free information and if you are the owner of truck you can get access to parts diagrams, wiring and warranty info for free. You can also get Detroit Diagnostic Link and have the same software to work on your truck than Detroit Dealer ships for $500.00 per year. I have it on my laptop and a Nexique link USB connector. I can do the same work and trouble shooting than dealer. -
Problem with shops is if you dont watch them they will cause problems they want you to come back with something wrong to spend more money. But replacing one box if they didnt replace filter or clean it or all the lines the def will start to makr you lose power as its clogging back up. I have had that issue twice.
-
Agreed when i take my truck in and the lsundry list grows i fix what i know is wrong i research codes and im automotive certified but they love to take advantage even a lose line or air line they do it to get you back to spend more moneyHopeOverMope Thanks this.

Thanks guys....I'm gonna have to learn my truck as much as possible. Next...I will get the filters cleaned.

Have you ever done an EGR tuneup? Google it, or head over to Rawze.com, he has a video series on how to do one and why it is so important for the health of the motor. His video series is on the Cummins 871 motor, but your Detroit has all of the same parts, they just look different. Clean out the soot, replace the sensors and start from there. These sensors, especially the iMap sensor will have you chasing your tail unless you maintain them. Very expensive motors to won when the emissions start failing. Do your due diligence and learn your motor.
