Western Distributing

My husband is looking in to this company. Any other info on them? We think the company he is with now is going to go belly up here soon.

The secret to success, dont pay your drivers. This company is one of the cheapest paying companies running. It just means you the driver are buying the trucks for them.

 

The company that my dh is with right now, he is only getting .32 cpm. The layover rate is low also. I have to admit he is making money with the company he is with right now, but he told me today that they are showing the same signs that Priority was showing right before they went bankrupt.

 

What's "dh" stand for, and who's he drive for?

No he doesn't drive for Western. It is a company he is looking going to work for. The company he is with now is just showing sign of financial problems, which a lot of them are right now.

 

western runs you want to make money gotta drive can't be at home very much, you want to drive fancy it cost money and they'll let you drive a real pretty truck if your guy wants to work there he needs 3 years reefer and nothing negative in his history period. call them and talk to them that internet app junk ain't worth a dang gotta get personal contact

 

western pay is at the bottom of the scale, although with exp. you do get a better starting wage. the equipment is borderline O/O spec as the driver gets some say in how the truck is equipped. They dabble in a lot of things, but the bread and butter is Coors and some other alcohol. They also do armored items, car hauling, and general frieght.

the owner of the company has his hands in with a few other companies, Federal Fruit and Produce is one and a few others. Many years ago there were rumours of somefishy things going on but as far as I know it was never proven.
