i don't know...
are there any other companies that are private of w/s caliber?

 

Roxy told me that they get 800-900/day. She also said that most of them aren't qualified. Either they live outside the hiring area, have a horrible driving history, bad criminal record, etc.

I hope it works out for those of you in the application process. My wife and I went through the 30 day school and we've been on the road about two and a half weeks now. So far it seems to be a great company. The main problems we've had were associated with the holiday schedules at both W/S and at the shippers/receivers.

 

this is very true, also, this is also the slow time in trucking, and lets not forget that the shape of the econemy is not helping in anyway as well.
this is a slower year then usual.
just hang in their, it SHOULD get better

and i assume your wife and you run team??

Now there are some weird husband/wife combos in this company, so it's a legitimate question

I won't go into much detail, but we have an O/Op husband/wife that teamed, then one had to go off the road for a while, then team again, then decided they each needed their own truck. So husband/wife each have a truck because they couldn't stay in the same truck.

Then we have the O/Op Husband/exwife who are teaming. That one is weird....

 

Want to see unusual, ask that team who's truck it is.

 

Next time I see them, I'll do that.

 

We got there Monday midday and left Monday evening with a load. It was a bad load but it was still miles. Got us out ahead of the closures on I-5 and I-90
