Hmmm, I,'ve only been here for a little while, so I'm not sure about cargo. I'm pretty sure anything that's my fault is my bill. At least the deductible. So I'm planning on getting my own truck by June.

Well for the company drivers we stay close to home & pickup heavy loads. I'm not sure about the oop's. Maybe they go a little farther. He's pretty straight forward and has been keeping his word up to now. I haven't had the opportunity to speak with any oop's working for him yet but plan to.$3 is very good, right?. I don't want to lease only buy a truck. I've always heard schneider takes care of their trucks, for the most part.(as long as there's no bed bugs).

3.00 isn't bad as long as you can get enough miles

    Even 2500 miles @ $3 is 7,500. That's good to me

good idea .... sounds like it's worth a try. .....
I try to get 5000 gross per week on a truck and that's still a good check if you stay in the 5000 to 7500 you will be fine ..... I rarely go more than 2000 miles most weeks. .... large gross is good large net is better lol

also you might want to check in to penske used trucks they have some financing available without to much down payment and can get a little bit of warranty and most of the people that drive those trucks have experience so the clutch ect. should be in good shape and they have good maintainance and records on every thing that's been done. prices are pretty decent

Wow, 2000 miles w/ Landstar & grossing that much. I was told awhile ago they had a lot of deductions. That doesn't sound bad at all. Thanku for the pensive idea too.
