back in my earlier years, one day per week...off.

as time progressed, i took off when ever i wanted, and passed on my freight to a lower senior drivers.

now, i am local, so i have every weekend off. (saturday morning when i get back, off) back to work Monday nights

i have heard of some places, you work 4 weeks, get one full week off. but you might have to give up your truck. especially if you park at a terminal.

too many variables out there that are available.

 

I like the idea of leaving Sunday/Monday and getting back Thursday/Friday and having a two day weekend. It doesn't always work out, and usually ends up being "get home Saturday around noon and leave Monday at 8am" but it's still a "two day weekend" just not stretched out to two full days off.

But I'm doing this for the money and it's getting a whole lot nicer weather-wise, so if that means a 48 hour turn around into the next week, then let's do this. I want us to get on with our lives and start a family, and if sacrificing some time at home is what I need to do then so be it.

 

Well what do you want. Sure seems your posting of late is all about Dave or the cats. Really, whats in it for the company? How do you expect them to make any profits off your hard work. You did get to the house right.

 

If he has some bone for me I will consider his offer.

Seriously Dave just say "no". It's easy, I do it all the time lol.
