Bring wife OTR for a year or two

Check you tube .you will find a few husband and wife teams .talking about the life together on the road .

 

I'm not trying to be cute or funny. If your wife is a looker she is going to hear comments and have men following her with their eyes when she walks. I have seen fist fights in truck stops because someone made a cat call or said something where the lady could hear it. This activity is COMMON in truck stops and around docks across the country. If your going to have your wife with you go on ahead, but BOTH of you need to develop a thick skin because if you are and stay hypersensitive you won't last long. It is what it is, sorry!

I agree with your idea. Imagine the savings. Worst case scenario she could get a 1-way flight home. I once saw a woman throwing her mans belongings out on the street at a truckstop and then he was locked out of the truck. Couldn’t help but watch it entertained. I guess that could happen to you out in the middle of nowhere. That’s a bad scenario.

 

Be sure you can do it- pay bills, save cash, and deal with 24/7 work life. Truck stops are not very family oriented and if your haveing a bad hair day or she is, you 'll see how small that truck is

 

all you can do is stomp off to the sleeper and slam the curtain lol
