I'm gonna say average 6 weeks to get 15k miles. Doesn't matter where your based. You'll be all over. I went from Wisconsin to lower Tennessee yesterday, lower Tennessee to Cartersville Ga and now back in Terre haute Indiana today.

The 15,000 all depends on you and your trainer. Every trainer does things differently. Me, personally, I let each student dictate his daily mileage. If they get on my truck and can knock out 500+ miles from day 1 then I'm going to let them. Others may have to build up their stamina and start out only being able to run 350+ miles the 1st week before getting tired. Its all a process. Id definitely say 6weeks is a good estimate depending on trainers hometime and your ability. My current student got in my truck March 12th and had his 15,000 miles last week, and I take a generous amount of hometime. I will say this though. Don't be in a huge rush to get out of your trainers truck. Soak it all in, and learn. With the money new students are now making while in a trainers truck there really is no reason to be in huge hurry unless your having issues with your trainer. You are going to make more $ when you're with your trainer than when you are on your own.

Excellent advice, as usual. Regarding the trainers, is it possible to request one who does not smoke, as with other companies?

Well just got offered one of the 2019 trucks......and i turned it down. Headed to BRF so student can take his road test and then down to Murray KY to recover a truck that will be his truck. Student reallly wanted me to take the new truck so he could have mine, but the leather seats and duals arent enough incentive to override the bells and whistles.

Family care forced me out, but if that hadn't happened I think the new trucks would have been about the only reason I would have left. Never got to that point since I was a 15 but it was coming soon and I was really on the bubble about do I stay or do I go with all that #### staring over your shoulder.

Overall I think the company is great but that one would have really made it a hard choice.

Ya I really have no complaints on my 2017 and already had a new 2018 I voluntarily left for my 2017. Just figure I'll hold off in my 2017 for as long as i can. Its got 230k on it so I should be good in it for another yr or 2 till I get forced out.
