Finding a good OTR class A company after CDL School

    Is it hard to find a good paying job once you obtain your cdl from school? I want to start as soon as my schooling is over? Any input helps!

    Totally depends on what you want to do_OTR, LTL ( doubles) ,or local. You'll will have some who won't touch you till 1 to 2 years exp. and then some who'll throw the key at you and off you go. Word of advise- check out the forums for new drivers. Good luck

    Call the companies you want to drive for and ask them what schools the prefer to hire from. But all new drivers can be hired somewhere so no worries.

    The key is doing reverse planning.... inquiring to the companies you are interested in that will accept the training at the driving school you plan on attending. Some Driving schools are not accepted as being APPROVED by some companies as they don't have required length of hrs. FYI !
