After driving OTR for a year is it hard to find a trucking job that pays 55k and up. Also with that being said a job where you work Monday thru Friday trucking job and home every night.

Where do you live?
-
Connecticut. Fyi I haven't started yet and I actually want to do a full year on the road for money purposes
-
No here in Socal you can make more than running local than otr, 21 or 22 per hour, still going to average 14 hour, 8 @ 21.00 (168.00) plus 4.5 @ 32.50 (141.75) that's in the ball park of 309.00 at day. Lots of local work.
The deal is there is some actual work involved in most.

you could try an LTL company and apply for either P&D (days) or linehaul (nights)
some LTL companies do have a training program. -
You don't need to start a new thread for every new question you have. Lol
