Tetransport you have 3 people telling you have the wrong truck. Two of those people have run their own company for many years. If you don’t exchange that truck now you will be needing another in the near future.

The only thing you can haul with a half ton is small boats and campers. Maybe a couple small air conditioners or a couple bundles of pvc pipe. Heck you can't hardly hook up to a empty trailer and not be beyond the trucks capabilities.

Ok look, I haul auto parts into the plant that made the truck, if it's a USA made truck. If it's a Mexico made truck, it's still the same parts.... (Silverado 1500 crew cabs are made in both Flint, MI and Salio, Mexico) The 2500 and 3500 crew cabs are all made in Flint, MI. I know the different parts that go into the truck.

There is a different frame. There is a different rear end. There is a different suspension. There is a different braking. There is a different...

Let me guess, you even have a 3.23 rear end instead of of the towing package of 3.42 rear end? No, before time runs out the truck needs to be taken back. You will kill the truck, you will be liable for any damage to anybody on the highway. You will need to replace it soon anyway, so do while it can still be returned.

You are trying to drive a screw with a hammer.....
We honestly do not want to see you fail, but if you refuse to drink the water you've need lead to....
(You know, from the adage of you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink)

If you are moving freight for someone as a business of your own, you need a DOT number/MC number.
Insurance filed with the FMCSA so if you are a "for hire" business and there is an accident or a claim the DOT can see you have insurance on file.
Same as a moving company or any other hotshot business
