Now if FMCSA would start on the Chicago Euro companies...........
bzinger and spyder7723 Thank this. -
You don’t have to tell me. My brother works for DuPage County Sheriffs Department. The minute I mention one of those Russian outfits or a container hauler he starts shaking his head and giving me a facepalm. He’s literally lost count of how many of those jokers he’s shut down because of safety defects on their equipment.bzinger Thanks this.

And yet they’re still out there, plenty of clear cases of reincarnation IMO.

Holly crap!!! An FMSCAs job doesn't get any easier than this. This guy is crying about all the regulations. I wonder why we have them in place? Maybe to stop drivers and companies from doing whatever they want.
Just a personal opinionRoberts450 Thanks this. -
So what is the new company name?
-
I don't know why they don't seize equipment until problems are corrected and fines are paid. It would stop them from coming back under another company name.
My company had a reefer stolen from San Antonio. We filed a police report. Two days later,it was captured coming across the border in Laredo with a load of Mexicans. Customs kept it in impound for seven months before they released. If they can do it to law abiding companies, you'd think they could do it to outlaw companies. -
and the reincarnations will continue, as there is most likely a plethora of family members to use on paper for a new CEO/owner, etc, etc. and paint can be bought cheap for the door signage.
-
That is why you seize the equipment unitil the fines are paid. Eventually it will become cheaper to run legal.

Dude they small outfits, they will ban one Chicago company, next day it will be same company witb different name on it
