I would like to shoot for a thousand dollars a day but here in the real world if you lease on to a company you are not in charge of how much you will make if you was everybody would make 1000 dollars a day shooting for 1000 dollars a day sounds good and very positive but but that's 350 thousand a year try making that leasing your truck on to alot of these companies with forced dispatch

Your last 2 words will sink you. Why in the world would you EVER assume all the risk of owning/paying for a truck and then go wherever they tell you without knowing what the load will pay?!?!..........might want to keep researching a little longer.

Then you tell everybody where they can work and make 350 thousands dollars a year leased on to a company I'm waiting on your answer so we can all be informed of where we can be successful I hear this all the time but nobody ever says where they make that kind of money they just speculate the

I'm leased on to a company. No-one controls what my rates are. I pick and choose each one, I determine every rate on all of those, and book on average $1,200 per working day. The company I am leased to has zero say in what I book and nothing to say about the rates either. Of course I'm not working 365 days a year. I take weekends off and several weeks too, sometimes months even.

Someone that lived in the truck and had no life could probably do it on the same ordinary, typical freight that I haul. $1,000 a day isn't difficult to get with typical freight. Whether or not that $1,000 is worth the trouble 100% of the time though is highly unlikely. People who are specialized could easily do $350,000 a year at a company like Landstar.

Being leased to a company in the north east my dad has a lot of 900-1000$ days after the company takes their cut. If the company you wanna go to has freight that pays good you can prob make out okay but if their freight isn't much to write home about then don't even consider it

I averaged over $900 a work day last year leased on to someone. I’m home on weekends and took 6 weeks off.

    So: 230 work days.

I don’t see the problem either?
Again I’m leased where I have a say over what, when and where I haul for the most part.

If your going to let them chose for you it won’t be in your best interest.
