How much does road service for a tire run?

I think $200 is pretty standard. Plus the tire.

 

When at p&s i had a front drive tire tread separate from the belts on i70 west just outside indy 3 miles east of the loves. It was a super single, and the wheel lip was damaged beyond usage. P&s had them use a goodyear a goodyear G392 with duraseal, and a new wheel. The tech was smart and mounted the tire at the shop vs roadside. It ended up costing the company $1685 for it.

 

Unfnbelievable. Thank god I had a mounted spare for my 265R/17.5 they wanted $450

I was charged $80 to switch out a trailer tire...I supplied the tire and brought it to them

 

Now one of them guys that has a super single wrapped around everything except the rim, that might be a bit more.

The new 780 I saw about a week or so ago in Arizona on the 10 west bound with the blown steer, only rim left driver side, that had torn part of the hood off and cracked it all the way up past the intake, that's probably gonna be a few dollars more.

 

I think we need to get out of trucking and in to tire repair...more money

 

People always think things like towing and road service are making those guys rich... Until they try their hand at it and start wondering why the heck the rates are so low.
