I guess I am not a good barometer for vehicles, being that I drive a 97 Accord to work and have a 99 GMC, but a 2006 truck will be more reliable to me than a 2018. It’s had all the kinks worked out, probably been rebuilt and runs better. OP, consider yourself fortunate these drama queens don’t want to work for you.
steve092, 48Packard and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
I’ve got a ‘96 Accord Wagon. Lots cheaper than a new one!

I saw an old International Eagle cabover (with the setback axle) today running across I-94. Maybe late 80's? Wasn't cherry but it was in good condition.

Honestly I've got a Freightliner Columbia that pulls 100% better than one of the 2013 Petes
lovesthedrive Thanks this.
