I wondering if I should wait until I got a total of a year of experience or apply to places before then? Currently adding my time with crst and werner would total 5 months.

Never hurts to try, just don't leave your current place without something else lined up.

Pretty much. Employers in any field frown on unemployment time.

Also, keep in mind that was that little experience under your belt any future employment will look at you as a brand-new rookie. So anywhere you go, you will have to go through their training process. If that's three months in a truck with a trainer, that's what you'll be doing. It's not until a year usually that they begin to wave that requirement

A number of years ago I would council no stay there. Today with carriers so desperate for drivers most of the old rules have been turned on their ear. If you can land a job do it. Just try to stay there for 2 or 3 years.

If you're enjoying yourself, then stay there. And 70 hours was really not a lot. I was with my trainer for a hundred and sixty hours

And I've heard from more than a few drivers that those accounts are a nightmare. Regional positions are one of those that are in kind of high demand in a lot of places, so you're going to need a little bit of experience to compete for those. If you can find the perfect job for you, then by all means go for it. But I wouldn't expect the whole lot
