Winter Wrecks Pics

Great photo post, I hope the new drivers get a chance to see this post. After hours of driving it only take a second to lose it all.

 

I'm pretty sure this guy had a pretty bad day. Not the cause of bad weather, but still during winter and still quite unfortunate.

 

Serious fail there! Pay attention to the clearances folks!

My thoughts exactly....

 

Oh, dang, it does! I did't even notice that at first!

 

It jusdoesn't pay to drive in Icy conditions.

I'll drive in the snow as long as it's not icing the windshield and I can see where I'm going, but if there's ice on the road, forget it.

If you plan your loads right you can always shut down and make the miles up after the weather clears.

 

There isn't a load of freight out there that is worth risking your life on icy roads. I am always amazed at drivers who fly by me in the hammer lane when the roads are covered in ice and snow. Then I get to hear about what a slow ### I am in the right hand land. Get over it bud!

 

Those drivers and the ones in the 4-wheelers are known as ditch bait because that is where you will see them down the road . . . in the ditch.

 

My method for dealing with "CB Rambo" commenting on my driving is simple:

1. Turn the CB off.

2. Turn the XM up.

3. Operate that truck to the best of my ability.
