I filled out an app not long ago that asked if I had more than 3 jobs in the last 2 years... some companies refuse to hire job hoppers. Do your time and then get a real job.

I have my own company now. My drivers make more money then any company I ever worked for. When you asked what you should do it depends on the company. Companies with HR departments have hoops you have to jump through. I would prefer you to have more experience as in getting that tearing up the equipment out of your system

The Job is the same everywhere so put your two years in and then go somewhere you are loved.

2 companies in 5 months? Not knocking you at all, but I would try to wait till the full year, if possible.

You don't necessarily have to wait a year to get an upgrade these days. I only worked for my first conpcom 9 months before making a jump for more money. I got lucky though. I think if you go an entire year, you'll have more than "just a few options."

when I was a new driver I knew there other drivers that started at the same time as me and were able to get other jobs with companies within six months even though they had a one year requirement.

You already played the "jump around" card, I'd wait. But your options are still open.

I'd check with Marten or Wil-Trans. I believe they both require 6 months of experience, and I hear good things about both. I've got a friend with Marten who tried getting me in there (didn't have enough experience) and he loves it there, and I used to take Wil-Trans drivers to and from their terminal here in Springfield. Didn't ever hear a bad thing about it from them. I know they also have the whole TV package in the truck deal like some these days.
