Again, I've never stopped at a scale unless i get the arrow telling me to pull around. I always go in regardless. I'm not trying to interject anything saying I'm better off than him. I'm merely stating that there are plenty of other places he could make more, and limiting himself to a program like they have at prime is just like selling himself short.

The arrows are for legal loads. But, how can you "always go in regardless" but never stop unless you get the arrow? Ground Control to Major Tom...

Everyone is selling themselves short. As long as you know how much your are getting the shaft and have no delusions about it.

I would love to know where I can do better with less than a year experience? No one has ever answered that question. Like I said before all I got were nay Sayers so I went with the obvious choice. Once I have experience I will go somewhere else

If i was breaking the law, then at some point a state trooper would've pulled me over, even the notorious dick at the southbound Forsythe Georgia scale didn't even call me in when i went across his scale at 81,000lbs and 12ft6in wide. Florida inspects all permits regardless, most Tennessee scales direct you around back, ohio, doesn't want you to stop around back unless you're a super load or have escorts. Missori only has me come in if I'm over 13ft 6in or with escorts.

All That hooplah for what a Mega Driver can make... That's where it's at.

Maybe that's ok. Money isn't everything. If we enjoy what we do then it isn't work.

I know several guys who left tmc or prime and western and went over to builders transportation. Their lease is really not bad, many of those who stick with it, finish it with the title, most stay on and save up then trade in on a new truck.

Even company guys start at over 50cpm

What mega is paying their drivers over 75k a year that doesn't force them to train?

Anyone that can run 3k plus a week consistently. Yeah, that's too much work for what it pays. The Bane of mileage pay.

It's like the red Volvo's from the SE hauling blades that portray themselves as the best thing since sliced ham when they are going in a straight line. Then you see them on a two lane trying to make a turn and it's like running into the three stooges. I wouldn't mind so much if they had some humility from the beginning.

Even then someone is making money, but it isn't them.
