No one will make true owner op rates contracting with megas...also people like @Gunner75 works for a co that specializes in od freight who i wouldn't consider a mega carrier...

Prime has folks in the office depending on who you get will try to control your business ...that's why they didn't care for me...because i took charge and wouldn't let them run my business...

 

And they don't have to advertise for drivers either...which speaks volumes

 

They are starting to, getting desperate with guys retiring lately. They aren't going towards the large sign on bonuses yet, but they've opened up their hiring area some and dropped some ofthe requirements.

 

Hopefully they dont drop them too far or they won't be around much longer...

 

I doubt they will drop much more. Biggest issue is just finding drivers period, they all gravitate towards the mega co because of the huge sign ons, and because they are seen everywhere. Plus they have solid requirements to hire on, many can't pass them
