Did the vent windows help? From what I can see everyone says the same thing. Just looking at the way it is designed. The trailer weight will hold the back but the front has got to be pretty rough. Also looks like all the heat from the engine will go right in the cab. I wonder if any ever had power steering.

Sold my last cab over in 1991 ( k100e areodyne cat power ) just before the bottem fell out and ya couldn't give one away after that .

One other thing about cabovers, all ways in the back of your mind.If something or someone screws up,you are definitely the first one at the scene of the accident. Seen lots of horrible wrecks in my time.Last edited: May 1, 2018

Yes I just bought a cabover a couple days ago, time to fix it up. Drove 2000 miles in 3 days, not bad, just no radio, no gps, and no cell phone, and no ac. But I survived.

Still trying to decide if I sell my pete, or keep it as a spare truck.

Had an 11 liter heater in the winter. Your feet still got cold.
Set the maxi, and hop out, couldn’t get back in fast enough. It may have been 83 in the cab, but outside it was only 33.
So much noise, you had the radio blasting to be able to hear it. You pull in some place and park. When you got back in and turned the key on, the radio about knocked you out of the seat.intrepidor, Ruthless and Lab work Thank this.
