The TransFlo uses the Geotab chip and has been doing good for me. Idealease has it on the International truck I drive and they like it for the tracking and diagnostics they need. So my truck has 2 dongles on the diagnostics port.

I have Geotab and I like it. I've never had any issues with it. If you're used to people net or Qualcomm, it'll be an adjustment. Mine doesn't tell you how many hours you have, you just have to make sure you keep up with that. The driver has to be more responsible for him/herself when it comes to the hrs...that's a similarity to paper logs in my opinion

I thought the whole point of having an eld system was to keep tabs on thiw drivers hos?
-
Yes it is, but the Geotab don't tell you how many hrs you have left like it does in the right hand corner of the Qualcomm one.

We use geo tab in all our trucks, they are updating it in the next week with running breakdown of your hours ect.. im assuming that its not just my company getting said updates.
-
I just started with a company last week that uses Geotab on an Ipad and it tells you remaining hours in several places, including the screen saver.
-
I figured he was taking about the 70 or split ect..
-
The right corner of a Qualcom shows either the hours you have left on your 11 or 14, whichever is less.

The hos screen of geotab shows your remaining drive time. They are supposed to be updating it for. More comprehensive breakdown. Not that it bothers us as were local...
