i just thought this might be a decent topic for discussion...most drivers i know cant set foot in a tk dealer without blowing at least $600 and it’s obviously not cool going in for service when we dont really need to
seems to me my 10-year old tripac (not an evolution) has always run like this in the 10 years i have owned it: compressor kicks on and off at about 40-45 second intervals, with following pressures: low wavers from 10-17, high starts out at 30 and climbs up to 50. truck is always plenty cold and im happy with things the way they are
recently someone said these intervals sounded too short...he said my unit was probably “short-cycling.”
any opinions on this?
fyi i clean/replace the evaporator filter on a regular basis
