Did they tell you what type of stores they deliver to? I can tell which division it is by the customers.

No mostly solo except when I do a metro(local in city) they’ll give you a helper if the cases are high or a lot of stops. If you have a helper your per case pay goes down. I’ve filled in for teams but yet to figure out the pay on that. They pay 120% which is 20% more and you split it of something like that. If I have a helper I still make close to 380-400 in a night.

That’s what I’ll be doing. Local routes start at night time and home by noon. My interview is Monday is the hiring process a long one?

You’ll interview and probably go do a drug and physical test that day. Also they’ll schedule a strength test also. After they get all that they’ll do a background through hire right. It’s about a 2 week process.

Pay was close , very very close almost the same with 1 big exception. Intermodal took care of you when you werent moving. Paychecks with food service was larger but if truck was in the shop or you were on vacation you got $0. We pay you to deliver food to our customers thats it dont bug us about anything else. That was pretty much it in a nustshell were Hunt had vacation pay and things like that. Weekly paychecks were a little higher and job was better at food service. I wouldnt mind doing food service again !!! I get regular phone calls from Hunt wanting me back and i have no interest.

I took home $1,000 to $1,200 a week doing food service delivery. Took home $900 a week intermodal at Hunt ... and those paychecks where dropping when the dumbest chick in trucking became our FM. I could tell you stories you would not believe.
