Where can I make money?

Texas is better than Florida as far as pay goes ... have a brother that works for averit and another working for publix the don't make a whole lot compared to the rest of the country plus the traffic will take 5 yrs off your life ..... not that the traffic is any better in Texas

 

JB Hunt is looking for drivers in Reno Nevada. Pretty mild winters, no state income tax, close by to Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains if you like to camp, fish, hike. Real estate is pretty affordable there.

That list is way out of date and that's understandable considering the website.
You also said you want cats and that website doesn't say which companies allow cats; just has some out of date info cencerning pets. Shaffer allows 2 cats and hires in Florida.

 

Reno is 4 hours from the California coast, and you don't have to live in California which is a big bonus. If you want to live closer to the ocean than that, expect to pay more to live there. Living near the gulf isn't too expensive, but the heat and humidity can be more difficult to put up with than cold winters.

 

They specify "up to 2 cats"? How many cats do people want to live with in a tiny enclosed space?

They must be targeting the silver haired old lady driver demographic
