Am thinking about signing on with this company..
Anybody have any experience with them?
Would be interested in hearing from both company and lease purchase operators..
Thanks.

If your talking about National Carriers in Liberal, Kansas. I worked their from 200-2003 They are not a bad group to haul for. STAY AWAY from their lease program ( as with any outfit ) and if your going to work for a o/o depending on who you work for they are not bad... I would go with Joe Kelly I know he still has trucks their and he and his wife are GREAT to work for. GOOD trucks and they look out for their drivers. I know NCI has companey trucks too, not sure on that program they started that after I left. As far as the office people in Liberal most of them are great. STAY AWAY from Ed Kenter and Jill Maschmeier. Ken Stafford now is in charge of dispatch, he used to be my DM and is a real good guy to work for.
They have good freight and can keep you moving.
I hope thi helps -

I drove for them for a couple of years. I quit 9/1 because I was ticked off at them (lease program) and now I wish I had stayed. I really miss them.
You haul beef out of Liberal or Dodge, and haul everything else around till they get you back to one of the plants for another beef load.
Northeast is the heaviest freight lane, but they also go southeast and a lot of Texas. I ran out to Ca. pretty regularly. You really need haz-mat. Though you don't haul much of it when you get to certain areas, like Houston, you'll always get a load out right away if you have it.
There have been those driver's who never see eye to eye with their Driver Manager, but mostly everyone there is great to work with. Night dispatch are awesome guys. My DM made sure I had a preplan before I delivered, so I kept moving.
They offer a lot of 'flexibility' as to how you run. I avoided the safety lady, and everyone else loved me!
You don't say whether you are going company or lease. I don't know much about the company side and I'm betting they talked you into lease. They have a $300 special on Volvos, LOL! I've seen the ad in the local paper for months. You'll have to run like crazy, but you can make good money.
Good luck. -
