What is point and pray road shots ??? And should I be worried ?? LOL

 

Just a guy who takes pictures of cool trucks and posts them online.

 

We had her taken by ambulance last Friday afternoon to Pratt hospital. She was in so much pain, she couldn't do anything without assistance. My wife and I didn't think she would make it through the weekend, but she did!! They got her blood counts back to normal ranges and started her on meds for her pain. The family Dr told her it has gone into her bones and that was the reason for her pain. He did shoot her straight and tell her this would more than likely be what got her in the end. The oncologist doesn't see her until the 17th. There's still a small chance she can beat this, but the treatment options have to be discussed with him then. If she asks for our input, we will share it with her, but we've also made peace with the chance she may not want any treatment, and will just let it take its course.
There's also still a couple test results that haven't been shared by the oncologist yet. My wife and daughter have had some more of the Dr/nurse "Read Between the Lines" conversations with the family Dr, and get the feeling those results aren't good, but he has to let the oncologist share that report.
My wife helped get her moved to a nursing home yesterday. This is more of a comfort care/physical therapy scenario than anything. The Dr told them she needed to work on regaining strength as well as doing some physical therapy before she could start the chemo.

Yesterday went something like this....

Got up...eye hurt...truck wouldn't start....put on charger....charger not charging...fix charger....finally get truck started....low air switch out again....unhook buzzer and ride....eye's getting worse....load...four trucks ahead of me to unload.... Eye's killing me.....get home and change low air again...reconnect buzzer....sleep sitting up on couch because of eye.

Go to load this morning... Trucks everywhere.... Luckily only two ahead of me.....get message can you take it home...they running on the full side.

So I put on 29.5 ton and this is the current situation with a cold one.

 

Dang 51, sorry to hear that. My dad had the pain like you described toward the end he layed in hospice with a button hooked to morphine drip to manage the pain. Wasnt pretty at all not being able to do anything.

 

This keeps up l will have to paint Monster a different color. Being famous can get ya in trouble sometimes !! LOL
