I am an optimist. So i look at the positives in that picture. 1. It’s a sweet extended hood Pete. 2. He is off work early drinking a cold one. 3. Looks to be a beautiful day, and he probably runs rural areas. 4. Doubt he has Elogs. It reminds me of this clip from Field of Dreams

I don't do the big roads unless I have to. Been running out of the new plant in CR. I go under 80 at the 201 and run a few miles north and take 6 across. Run in the backside of the airport and the plant's a mile down the road.
Yesterday I had that low air light on making my way across and here comes the red and blues....so I ease it on over and he goes right by. Seems the Mexicans flipped their van a few miles down the road.
Today I'm a little east of Brooklyn and lots of lights up ahead.... West bound bullrack layed it over in the south ditch. Had a bunch of goosenecks there off loading it.
The pete ain't sweet but she's mine.

Sorry to here that Mr. Ford. My dad went through the same thing. He fought for quite a while and finally had enough with the pain and said he was ready to go. We all went to the hospital so he could see everybody and that was it. The doctors made him as comfortable as they could and left it up to him when he was ready. As you said, his doctors were straight shooters and that helps a lot, who needs a bunch of BS at that point of their lives.
Thoughts and prayers for everyone.OLDSKOOLERnWV, 4mer trucker, SAR and 11 others Thank this. -

She told my wife last Friday, when she was in so much pain, that she understood why people would end things. It broke my heart to listen to my wife tell me that.OLDSKOOLERnWV, 4mer trucker, SAR and 12 others Thank this. -

Unfortunately we've been thru this five times on my wife's side. It's impossible to explain it to someone that hasn't went thru it.
My wife's family aren't very good at dealing with doctors and hospitals and I never felt it was my place to step in. My father-in-law had a form of blood cancer and the hospital he was in is one of the worst. He wasn't gonna make it out but they'd been juicing him for five days to keep the bed warm. Finally he sat up out of a sound sleep and said what the hell are you people doing to me....he never woke back up.
It's hard to watch and we always kept the young kids away....
All you can do is be there for your wife and family. It's a hard process and I hope you find a miracle!!!
Keeping you and yours in my thoughts....1951 ford, OLDSKOOLERnWV, 4mer trucker and 10 others Thank this. -
