He about had me convinced he failed lol

 

so im curious is waiting to have your truck loaded an issue with the different customers the Millis does business with?

 

Hit and miss. Just all a big roll of the dice. The good thing is Millis pays $20hr after 1.5hrs and unlike alot of other companies, getting paid for detention is never an issue here. So much so that alot of times I'll be somewhere for hour 40mins and within few hrs Im getting a message telling me $5 in detention at shipper or reciever lol When Millis says 1.5hrs they arent playing lol

 

thanks keen98. i have another question im full of em tonight i guess. does the company expect you to frequently use your cell phone and if so is there a comp for that. i know communication can be handled through the Qualcomm just curious how that can work.

 

There is no comp for cell phone. They prefer all communication done thru the QC, but sometimes its just easier for me to call my dispatcher or BRF or whoever

 

It took two tries, but I finally passed my CDL-A on Saturday. Now I just need to get my new picture ID and go through all of the formalities with Millis, and I'll be in my own truck soon!
