I heard that Calex lost the Wegmans produce out of California, I wondered who got it, now I know, Abilene. We haul it directly, Calex is going through brokers. I'm sure that must make Tommy Grimes happy.
augiedoggie41 and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
They also said they don't deliver to Canada anymore. As for the Volvos they do have one out there that looks like it was never used. Nobody ever installed mirrors on the hood. Looks new.
Pay for me starts off at .34 CPM. Goes to .36 CPM at 3 months, .38 at 9 months, etc til it tops .40 CPM. Hopefully their stop pay is the same as it was years ago at $25. God knows I need the money and I'm hoping they pay per diem. We're about to find out. Biggest thing that turned me on to the company was it was just down the road from where I live and I have the hickory run travel plaza where I can park my truck about 3 miles from my house. I'm keeping my fingers crossed with these guys.Last edited: Apr 20, 2017

It's been about six months since you've been with Calex judging by the original posting dates. Do you have a six month review? Everything you thought it'd be? Better or worse than your expectations? The reason I ask is bease I'm about to graduate from a local driving school next week and Calex is a local company that sent a recruiter to speak with students a few weeks back. Just wondering your recent experience because the last time I listened to a recruiter, I ended up in Iraq and Afghanistan with the Marine Corps. Lol -
They just forwarded me the pay package for teams, and I just don't see the money with this company?
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
They're airline miles. Draw a straight line on a map from one city to another. That's what your paid. They say ezpass but they're very stingy about it.
My contract is now over. This company desperately needs a full time shop. Sitting at a truck stop broke down AGAIN. Ive broke down so many times I've lost count. There are no PMs on trucks. Volvos were phased out.
Will pat chronological detailed review once im home and with a new company.Need4Speed Thanks this. -
