I'm not a new driver but my Wife will be. We plan to team but can't decide which company to sign with. Any and all opinions are welcome.

Worked for Covenant for a year my first gig. They kept us busy, lots of coast to coast. Kept the truck in good shape. Its a typical large company with the typical crap to deal with.

After I quit, every once in awhile I'd get a small check in the mail. After the second or third one I called em up and asked what these checks were for. They said they would go thru old records, maybe some kind of audit, and find money that hadnt gotten paid to drivers. That was the reason for the occasional checks. I thought that was pretty decent of em -

Dont know jack about Werner -

I recommend Covenant because of all the teaming bonuses that they pay.

Werner sucked for me. Lousey company. Stay away from Werner , you would be better off at Swift. I dont know much about covenant except they are religious and they think its not a choice its a child.

One could argue that it is both... a child, and a choice.

And I'm quite sure that someone could have a jolly time debating the merits and virtue of freedom of choice with many people that seem to think that there might be limits to that freedom.

But there really is no limit. We are free to do as we will.
Sure, there may be consequences. But we are still free to choose.

Well, as of now, we're leaning to Covenant.

Good luck. I think you will do alright at covenant. I heard they did some major renovations at the terminal in pomona, ca. New showers, facilities, driver lounge.
