volvo 670 antenna?

I know this post is old. So pull out the shovel because I’ve dug it up. I have a 2007 670. Just installed a bearcat 880. Plugged everything in to factory plugs on dash. I can hear the weather station but nothing else. My swr won’t turn down and my antenna keeps failing. If this helps I’m running an after market deck. My am/fm tuner works great on radio

 

I second the bird perch, I run a Wilson on a perch with good coax on my Stryker 497 and it works pretty good.. the factory stuff was junk

 

You could probably quadruple the performance using the factory antennas by simply changing the mounting locations.

 

You can "turn down" your swr??????????

I feel your frustrations, my Bearcat 880 does the same in 2014 Volvo 670. Thinking I need a CB shop to help get this sorted.
