Pet peeve of mine as well. I don't even like having something plugged into the cigarette lighter.

That was just a bit of a 'bench test' on my dash... that's why there's a rug in the picture. I'll post another pic after it's all mounted.

 

Awwww ok gotcha.......Yeah when its tidy it doent make it look so bad and attracts less attention from the ones you dont want seeing..

Yeah it should do a nice clean 400 watts..Much more and it will be a splatter box..Seen vids of techs gettin them up to 500-600 but they will not last like that..

 

Thats what shops are useing for the 955 xxx,the bottom of a n4 or your radio..

 

Internet search link "10 meter radios ". This will bring up many radio shops

 

Didn't someone post on here that they had an iowa80 tuned radio that burned up after they turned up the dead key from 4w to 10w? LoL
